Into the Mystics!A note from Chris about what to expect: This is for everyone who wants to discover their inner life more deeply. While we're learning about the mystics and their writing, this is about the heart, not the head. You don't have to be a theologian; you just have to be open to meeting God more deeply. You can come for one, a few of your favourites, or the whole thing.
We'll spend about 10 minutes learning about the mystics, but then the rest of our time will be with prayer, reflection and meditation practices that will take us deeper into the heart of God.

From the Fundraising TeamAt the last Parish Council retreat it was agreed to set up a fundraising committee to help raise funds to address the St Anne's deficit and support the running and ministries of our beloved church home.
The fundraising committee has now been set up, and is being co-chaired by Chris Dorle and Sara Miller, with Monika Follett and Roger Farrier serving as committee members. All are welcome to attend fundraising committee meetings which will be announced beforehand.
Our first action as a committee is to hold a hold a brainstorming session to generate and prioritize ideas for fundraising activities and events on Sunday, 20 July at 11.30. All St Anne's parishioners are invited to attend, and we look forward to hearing your creative suggestions on how we can raise funds, have fun, and build community in the process. A light sandwich lunch will be provided. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
