National Day for Truth and ReconcilliationSome ways to honour the day Friends, This Sunday, we will be paying attention to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as it is the closest day to September 30th, and you are invited to wear orange to church. I hope that you will take the opportunity to participate meaningfully in the day, by learning and listening to the stories and experiences of the Indigenous People of this land. Gail Newell has sent the following list of opportunities to participate in the day in Richmond: Residents are invited to commemorate the day through a series of displays and programs across Richmond. For a full list of activities, visit richmond.ca/NDTR. Some of the events have already passed, but there are still opportunities to participate in some ongoing events and something Sep 30.
