Thank You - For The Music

Our hearts are full of gratitude.

Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, The Sounds of ABBA raised over $5,500 for our St. Anne’s Music Ministry — surpassing our goal! We were also thrilled to welcome over 90 people to this joyful evening of music, fellowship, and fun. The silent auction alone raised an amazing $1,800.

This evening would simply not have been possible without the many hands and hearts that came together to make it happen.

To our wonderful volunteers — thank you for decorating, setting up the sanctuary and hall, organizing refreshments, selling tickets, helping with money transactions, supporting AV, cleaning up, and working tirelessly behind the scenes. To our congregation members who donated delicious baking and silent auction items — thank you for sharing your gifts so generously.

To our incredible fellow organizing team members Jonathan and Rachel — thank you for your dedication, creativity, and countless hours of planning and execution. Jonathan, thank you for your inspiring leadership as our Musical Director. Your vision, talent, and guidance helped shape an unforgettable evening of music.

To the amazing Richmond Delta Orchestra students — thank you for absolutely wowing us with your performance. We loved that you embraced ABBA with such enthusiasm… even if some of you may not have known quite who they were beforehand 

You brought such joy and energy to the evening!

To our choir, soloists, musicians and local Summer Breeze Band — thank you for sharing your extraordinary talents and helping create such meaningful moments together. 

And finally, to our Rector, Marnie — thank you. You inspire us to live out God’s message of love, welcome, and community. You entrusted us with the opportunity to create an event that brought neighbours, friends, and fellow human beings together through the love of music and the ministry of music at St. Anne’s, our beloved parish. Thank you for your faith, encouragement, and support every step of the way.

To each and every one of you — thank you for donating your time, talent, and treasure, for performing, volunteering, praying for us, and cheering us on in spirit.

We are beyond grateful and truly blessed to be part of such a loving and generous community.
