This event has already occurred
There will be two services at St. Anne's on Ash Wednesday, March 6th, at 10am and 7pm. At the evenning service we will welcome the congregation from Gilmore Park United Church, who will join us.
The Eucharist will be celebrated and there will be the imposition of ashes for those who wish. The ashes are the remains of burnt Palm Sunday crosses from previous years and are a sign of the frailty and uncertainty of human life and a marking of our penitence before God.
All are welcome.
