One of my favorite things about summer is taking some time to sit down an read. And this summer I was hoping that some of you might consider reading a couple of books with me!

In the month of July I'm going to read The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. You can see a video about it here.  I was able to order the book from my local bookstore but it's also available online. 

Then join me for a conversation about this book on Thursday, July 21 at 10am in-person at St. Anne's and 7pm online via Zoom.

In the month of August, I'm going to be reading The Church Cracked Open: Disruption, Decline, and New Hope for Beloved Community  by Stephany Spellers. You can see a video about this book here.
