Gilmore Park United Church has a Dream - That no family in Richmond will live in poverty! The concert will support Richmond Seniors living in poverty.

Each year they hold a concert to remind ourselves and others, that in the midst of abundance there are people in our own community who live in poverty.

Gilmore Park are joined this year by:
Singer Paull Verheyen
Pianist Miri Lee
The Re-Sisters
The Hugh Boyd New Orleans Style Jazz Band
Richmond Singers Ensemble

There will be music, there will be celebration, there will be coffee and goodies and best of all - there will be an opportunity to help, to donate, and to learn.

Tickets are $15 and are available in their church office (604-277-5377) or at the door.

This year our focus is on seniors with housing needs and proceeds from the concert will go to support the Chimo Seniors Rent Bank Initiative.  The Seniors Rent Bank will provide short term funding to seniors that live in the City of Richmond, to enable them to secure or maintain their housing. The funding may go towards unpaid rent or utilities to prevent eviction, or may go towards a security deposit or pet deposit to enable a senior to secure housing. Please see the PDF below for more information.
